Hiske Bongaarts

Hiske Bongaarts is a versatile singer, actress, and presenter. With her warm voice, impressive range, and sparkling energy, she conquers both the stage and the audience.

 

After graduating cum laude from the Music Theatre Academy at the Tilburg Conservatory in 2010, Hiske developed into one of the most popular artists in the Dutch high-end circuit. She performs more than a hundred shows annually, both as a soloist and with renowned bands such as SESSION and Entourage.

 

In 2024 and 2025, she appeared as a soloist at Toppers in Concert in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Previously, she appeared in The Voice of Holland and De Alleskunner VIPS .

 

In addition to her singing career, Hiske is active as an actress. She has appeared in, among others, Een Grote Familie, De Slet van 6VWO, Juf Braaksel, and Flikken Rotterdam, and in 2018, together with Nastassia Firestone, she produced the award-winning short film Viswijf.

 

She also presents (international) events, award shows , and videos for brands such as FHM, Balmain, ICT Media, Bluebiz KLM, Dopper, and Dermapen.

 

As a solo artist, Hiske delivers powerful Dutch-language pop songs with a Scandi-pop sound. Her lyrics are honest and emotional, touching on themes such as love, grief, and finding your strength again.

 

With her unique blend of vulnerability and strength, humor, and years of stage experience, Hiske knows how to connect on every stage. She stands for openness, inclusivity, and individuality – with an endless supply of energy, glitter, and depth.
